The ImpactHow we impact the community
Who are we?
Canadian Friends of Somalia (CFS) is a non-profit organization established in 2004. Our mission is to serve Somali children, youth and families in a manner that builds from resiliencies, empowers change and transforms adversity.
What we do?
CFS has made significant progress in fostering youth and family engagement through multi-disciplinary collaboration. We support and advocates for grassroots, community led and culturally responsive initiatives to tackle issues related with youth empowerment and engagement.
How we do?
CFS has a long history of working with diverse partners from different sectors in order to harness resources and enhance service capacity. We also attempt to maintain a presence at community events and encourage awareness and understanding of the Somali experience.
